Role Overview:
We are actively searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative to join our thriving team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will hold a crucial position in driving revenue and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, sales skills, and a deep understanding of the insect repellent industry. What will you do in this role?
· Foster and enhance ongoing sales relationships with existing clients.
· Actively seek out and engage potential clients through various means.
· Assess clients' requirements, suggest suitable goods or services, and negotiate pricing and sales terms with them.
· Provide insights into product improvements when customization is necessary to meet specific client needs.
· Develop sales presentations, proposals, and other collateral to highlight the advantages of using a particular product or service.
· Prepare, oversee, and manage sales contracts while ensuring accurate maintenance of customer records.
· Consult with client’s post-sale to address concerns and ensure ongoing support.
· Resolve technical problems related to product usage and provide necessary troubleshooting assistance.
· Continuously develop and retain technical knowledge about products or services to effectively convey features and respond to client inquiries.
· Establish and maintain relationships with Chinese suppliers, manage procurement, and develop sales strategies.
· Formulate, execute, and report on sales strategies to accomplish business objectives.
· Evaluate market conditions, analyze competitors' activities, and stay informed about emerging markets and trends.
· Offer training in product usage and applications and potentially supervise other technical and sales personnel.
Expected Qualifications
· A university degree or college diploma in a program related to industrial and chemical product/agricultural supplies, or services is required or equivalent experience in these areas can be considered.
· Minimum l year of working experience in industrial/chemical products sales is a must.
· Exposure of working with industrial/chemical materials/products suppliers in China/Asia is an asset.
· Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
· Relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Analytical skills for market research and data interpretation.
· Willingness to travel as needed.
