Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Procurement and Operations to join our executive team. This pivotal role will drive our procurement strategies, streamline operations, and ensure the efficient supply chain management of our diverse product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, robust leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the variety of global and regional procurement practices. What will you do in this role?

Develop and execute comprehensive operation strategies and establish goals to drive revenue growth and capture market share.
Monitor and control procurement and operational budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Oversee all operational aspects, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain efficiency, ensuring seamless operations.
Formulate and approve procurement campaigns in collaboration with operation teams.
Represent the company in high-stakes negotiations with key suppliers and partners. Delegate negotiation responsibilities when appropriate, ensuring favourable terms and agreements that benefit company interests.
Foster collaboration with other departments, particularly product development and operations, to streamline processes and ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
Oversee the performance of the procurement department and implement human resources management strategies, selecting middle managers, directors, and other executive staff.
Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends. Utilize insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills Requirements:

Expected Qualifications

·         Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, finance or other related fields.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in a middle management role, preferably in operations management, procurement, or supply chain management, with a track record of collaborating with suppliers.

·         A quick learner and precision and attention to detail are critical

·         Practical communication skills to adhere to instructions and collaborate with team members, managers, engineers and other stakeholders.

·         Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
