Primary Job Duties:

-          Assess the quality of meat and verify its shelf life to ensure product safety and freshness.

-          Read orders and strategically manage time to ensure the timely completion of meat orders.

-          Utilize knives or machinery to properly split, cube, or slice meat.

-          Eliminate inedible portions of meat while minimizing waste.

-          Weigh, sort, package, and label processed meat in accordance with order requirements.

-          Suggest the supervisor regarding the quantity of meat processed and orders fulfilled to help improve order management.

-          Maintain a clean work environment, sanitizing countertops, knives, and equipment to prevent bacterial contamination.

-          Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure the integrity of meat products.

Expected Qualifications

-          Some secondary school education is required. We will provide on-the-job training.

-          Basic cleaning and maintenance skills.

-          Good health condition

-          Ability to lift and carry heavy items properly.

-          Ability to work with others

-          Time management skills

-          Speak and understand English.

-          Courses in first aid, food safety and handling of workplace hazardous materials are assets
